AEE Bargaining Summary 04-09-25
Bargaining with management is in full swing. We have reached the deadline in bargaining where articles and letter of agreements have been opened for review by both sides and not further new proposals can be passed. We are now entering the phase where the negotiations happen. 26 Articles have been opened and all the letters of agreement. Eight new letters of agreement have been passed. Some of these are just for date updates and some are substantive. Some of the items we are discussing:
Economics (e.g. COLA’s, step increases, differentials, longevity pay)
Construction Inspection Resourcing
Remote Work
Boot and Outerwear Reimbursement
Extending multiple Letters of Agreement
The State has proposed again structural pay changes including bi-weekly pay to better align with Workday.
We have already come to agreement on several items. We are optimistic these talks will be a positive outcome for our members and help to strength our collective bargaining agreement.
We want to thank all members who assisted by filling out the member survey last fall. The bargaining team has utilized the survey results to help guide us forward in our effort to strength the CBA and help gain more protections for our members.
